GREENVILLE, S.C. – The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) announced the National Student-Athlete of the Week Award winners for the week of September 6-12. Jacob Ropp earned the honor of NCCAA Men’s Cross Country National Student-Athlete of the Week.

Ropp set a personal record in his first race of the season at the Indiana Wesleyan University Twilight Invitational. Ropp finished the 8k race in 26:59.8.

It is the second NCCAA National Student-Athlete of the Week honor for the Pilots in 2021-22 and the first weekly accolade for the junior from Gresham, Oregon. Each student-athlete has been nominated by his/her respective institution and exemplifies the Christian ideals held by the NCCAA.
