Notre Dame, Ind. The Holy Cross College men’s basketball team took on Roosevelt University this evening at home in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference matchup. Holy Cross took an early 9-6 lead seven minutes into the contest, but the Lakers would fight back to take the 32-28 lead heading into halftime. Roosevelt extended their lead in the second half, before a Nash Hostetler three cut the lead to 53-51 with a little over three minutes left to play. The Saints were unable to overcome the deficit as they would fall 64-57. With the loss, men’s basketball stands at 7-4 overall and 2-3 in league play while Roosevelt improves to 5-3 and 3-2.
