MISHAWAKA – Bethel Baseball rallied with seven runs after trailing 3-0 to win game one 7-4 in the opener on Friday against Saint Francis before nearly battling back from a 5-1 deficit, plating 3 runs and the putting tying run in scoring position in a 5-4 loss in game two. Thomas Dolan delivered the game-tying and go-ahead hits in the game one victory with four RBI’s on the day.

With the game one win, Seth Zartman notched his 398th in a Bethel uniform with a chance to earn his 400th win at Bethel with a sweep on Saturday.
After falling behind 5-1 in game two, the Pilots loaded the bases and cleared them on a double by Dominic Deisler, but Alex Stout and Eli MacDonald were both retired quietly to end the game.
