Fort Wane, Ind. The Holy Cross College men’s basketball team returned from break to take on the No. 25 University of St. Francis on the road in a non-conference matchup. After some back-and-forth action in the first half, both teams exchanged multiple lead changes. A Cougars run late in the half found the Saints down 32-28 entering halftime. St Francis came out strong to start the second half and jumped out to a 49-33 lead with 12 minutes remaining. The Saints were unable to overcome the strong start as they would fall 77-52. With the loss, men’s basketball stands at 8-8 overall while USF improves to 11-4.
