• Rushed for a game-high 139 yards on 11 carries in the Lakers’ 55-14 win at Mayville State (N.D.)
• Scored four rushing TDs in the win, one shy of the MSFA single-game record
• Earns his fourth career MSFA Offensive Player of the Week award
Defensive Player of the Week
Blake Kight, Missouri Baptist
Jr., LB, Mount Carmel, Ill. (Mount Carmel HS)
• Made a game-high 11 tackles in the Spartans’ 24-12 road loss at Lyon (Ark.)
• Recorded two tackles for loss on the day
• Earns his first career MSFA Defensive Player of the Week award
Special Teams Player of the Week
Jonah Cox, Missouri Baptist
So., K, O’Fallon, Mo. (Fort Zumwalt South HS)
• Scored all 12 points for the Spartans in their road loss to Lyon
• Was a perfect 4-for-4 on field goals, with a long of 35 yards in the second quarter
• Earns his first career MSFA Special Teams Player of the Week award
