Yemi Ward, St. Ambrose
Sr., WR, Chicago, Ill. (Bolingbrook HS)

  • Brought in three TD catches in St. Ambrose’s 36-30 loss to Lawrence Tech
  • Collected four receptions for 155 yards on the day
  • Earns his second career MSFA Offensive Player of the Week award, and the first this season

Defensive Player of the Week
Carlos Conley, Roosevelt
So., DB, Plainfield, Ill. (Plainfield North HS)

  • Grabbed two interceptions in the Lakers’ 28-20 upset win over #7 Concordia
  • Had a game-tying 76-yard interception return TD against the Cardinals
  • Earns his first career MSFA Defensive Player of the Week honor

Special Teams Player of the Week
Jonah Cox, Missouri Baptist
So., K, O’Fallon, Mo. (Fort Zumwalt South HS)

  • Scored eight points and went a perfect 5-for-5 on extra points in the Spartans’ 44-37 win at Madonna
  • Converted his only field goal attempt of the day
  • Earns his second career MSFA Special Teams Player of the Week award this season
