Michigan, Notre Dame and Penn State Earn Three Stars Honors

Johnson tallied five points in a single outing for the Wolverines to earn First Star accolades

 

First Star

Kent Johnson, Michigan

F – Fr. – Port Moody, B.C.

 

  • Tallied five points in Friday night’s win against Michigan State to become the first Wolverine to collect five points in a single performance since J.T. Compher (vs. Penn State on March 18, 2016)
  • Posted four assists on Friday, leading the conference for the entire weekend, as No. 9/9 Michigan won 9-0
  • Added a power-play goal in the third period
  • Earns his second career weekly award
  • Last Michigan honoree: Thomas Bordeleau (Third Star) on Nov. 25, 2020
  • Last Michigan First Star: Strauss Mann on Nov. 17, 2020

  • Tallied two assists on Saturday night in the Fighting Irish’s’ 5-4 win
  • Led Notre Dame on Sunday with two goals in the 5-3 loss against the Sun Devils
  • Claims his first career weekly honor

  • Collected a pair of multi-point games as Penn State split the series with Ohio State
  • Had two helpers in the Nittany Lions’ 6-3 Friday loss
  • Posted two goals and had a +3 rating during Saturday’s 5-2 win
  • Claims his first career weekly honor
