Wolverines’ Hillmon and Huskers’ Markowski recognized for last week’s performances

Naz Hillmon, Michigan
Sr. – F – Cleveland, Ohio – Gilmour Academy – Major: Communications and Media
• Averaged 21.0 points and 11.3 rebounds per game with three double-doubles in three Wolverine wins last week, including victories over No. 16/19 Oregon State and Mississippi State to win the Daytona Beach (Fla.) Invitational title
• Named MVP at the Daytona Beach Invitational after posting 20 points, 13 rebounds and four steals in a Nov. 26 win over Oregon State and 18 points and 10 rebounds the following day in a victory over Mississippi State
• Added 25 points on 11-of-13 shooting in 24 minutes of a Nov. 22 win against Oakland
• Earns her fifth career Big Ten Player of the Week award and first this season

Nia Clouden, Sr., G, MSU: Tallied 22.7 points, 5.3 assists and 3.3 rebounds in a 2-1 week for MSU, including a season-high 24 points and eight assists in Sunday’s win over Marshall
Jaz Shelley, So., G, NEB: Registered 23.0 points and 4.5 rebounds per game in two wins last week, including 30 points on Nov. 26 against Drexel, helping Nebraska win The Dana on Mission Bay Holiday Tournament title
Jacy Sheldon, Jr., G, OSU: Averaged 24.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists with a .654 field-goal percentage in Ohio State’s two wins last week, including a career-high 31 points on Nov. 23 vs. Bellarmine

• Averaged 6.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per game in two Husker wins last week in helping Nebraska capture the title at The Dana on Mission Bay Holiday Tournament in San Diego
• Had a career-high nine rebounds in Nov. 26 win over Drexel and seven points and seven rebounds the next day in victory over tournament host San Diego
• Part of a Nebraska squad that is off to its best start (7-0) since the 2014-15 season
• Collects her first Big Ten Freshman of the Week award
