May 16, 2022

BRISTOL – The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is excited to announce that Kory Lantz, Founder and Executive Director of Transformation Ministries in South Bend, will serve as camp chaplain for the South Bend Power Camp.
Lantz graduated from and played basketball at nearby Bethel University. In 2010 along with his wife Alison, they started a youth leadership program called Iron Sharpens Iron (ISI). Since then, the programs of Transformation Ministries have impacted hundreds of young lives in Northwest South Bend and beyond as they “seek to transform the hearts and minds of youth and their families while connecting others to the city in a positive way.”
FCA Power Camp is slated for June 20-23 on the campus of Washington High School and will run from 1:00-5:00 p.m. daily. It is designed for boys and girls entering 3rd through 8th grade this fall and will feature boys and girls basketball and soccer, girls volleyball and football for boys (6th-8th grade only).
Each camper will receive excellent sport instruction, powerful messages, a t-shirt, and a Bible. Cost for the camp is $50 if registered before June 1 ($60 after).
Thanks to the generosity of donors, scholarships are available based on need, especially when registering multiple children. Scholarships can be requested by emailing North Central Indiana FCA Director Josh Gleason at jgleason@fca.org.
Since 1954, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has challenged athletes and coaches to impact the world for Jesus Christ. Camps are a time of “inspiration and perspiration” for athletes and coaches who want to reach their potential through comprehensive athletic, spiritual and leadership training.
Registrations are open and can be found at www.ncindianafca.org.
