Carroll (Fort Wayne (13-0): Braden Steely ran 20 times for 66 yards with two touchdowns in the No. 5 Chargers’ 21-15 upset of top-ranked Hamilton Southeastern for the Class 6A northern semistate crown.

Center Grove (11-2): Nolan Foley converted four extra-points and field goals of 26 and 39 yards in the No. 4 Trojans’ 33-10 win over No. 2 Indianapolis Cathedral in the Class 6A southern semistate.

East Central (12-2): Nathan McFee’s 22-yard field goal in overtime was the difference in the No. 4 Trojans’ 24-21 win against No. 2 Indianapolis Roncalli for the Class 4A southern semistate title.

Evansville Mater Dei (11-3): Tanner Halbig returned a kickoff 84 yards for a touchdown in the No. 6 Wildcats’ 51-28 win against No. 1 Linton-Stockton in the Class 2A southern semistate finale.

Indianapolis Bishop Chatard (10-4): Luke Purichia ran 15 times for 58 yards and also intercepted a pass in the No. 6 Trojans’ 21-3 win over top-ranked West Lafayette for the Class 3A northern semistate championship.

Indianapolis Lutheran (14-0): DeVuan Jones hauled in a 66-yard pass for a score in the top-ranked and defending state champion Saints’ 28-7 win over No. 3 North Decatur in the Class 1A southern semistate final.

Lawrenceburg (13-1): Alex Witte scampered 12 times for 120 with a score and caught a 41-yard touchdown pass in the No. 9 Tigers’ 35-7 win over Monrovia for the Class 3A southern semistate crown.

New Prairie (13-1): Owen Chalik’s 23-yard field goal lifted the No. 6 Cougars to a 10-9 win over No. 7 Kokomo in the Class 4A northern semistate finale.

Valparaiso (10-3): Justin Clark tallied eight rushes for 24 yards with a touchdown in overtime for the No. 9 Vikings in their 22-21 win over No. 1 Fort Wayne Snider for the Class 5A northern semistate title.

Whiteland (12-1): Slate Valentine’s two touchdowns helped the No. 2 Warriors to a 21-7 victory over Castle in the Class 5A southern semistate final.

PACKING AWAY THE GEAR FOR ANOTHER YEAR

Castle (8-5): Weston Aigner came up with a 28-yard scoring reception for the Knights against Whiteland.

Fort Wayne Bishop Luers (8-6): Zamarion Jackson returned a kickoff 60 yards for a touchdown for the Knights against Andrean.

Fort Wayne Snider (11-2): Luke Haupert went 5-of-15 for 58 yards with two scores for the Panthers against Valparaiso.

Hamilton Southeastern (12-1): Donovan Hamilton hauled in five passes for 61 yards with a score for the Royals against Carroll (Fort Wayne).

Indianapolis Cathedral (10-2): Colin Ayers’ four-yard run into the end zone was one of the few highlights for the Irish against two-time defending state champion Center Grove.

Indianapolis Roncalli (12-2): Luke Hansen amassed 41 carries for 204 yards with three touchdowns for the Royals against East Central.

Kokomo (12-2): Evan Barker’s four-yard scoring run was not enough for the Wildkats against New Prairie.

Linton-Stockton (13-1): Braden Walters recovered a fumble in the end zone for a score and ran for a two-point conversion for the Miners against Mater Dei.

Monrovia (6-8): Dustin Kostrzewski came up with a 93-yard kickoff return for a touchdown for the Bulldogs against Lawrenceburg.

North Decatur (13-1): Reid Messer had 21 carries for 61 yards with a score for the Chargers against Indianapolis Lutheran.

North Judson (12-2): Cheyenne Allen was limited to 29 yards on 16 carries for the Bluejays against Adams Central.

West Lafayette (13-1): The Red Devils were limited to a 26-yard field goal by Niko Roumbakis against Bishop Chatard.

FINAL EXAMS

Adams Central (14-0) vs. Indianapolis Lutheran (14-0) (Class 1A): The Flying Jets’ last championship came 2000, while Indianapolis Lutheran is looking to make it two in a row.

Andrean (10-3) vs. Evansville Mater Dei (11-3) (Class 2A): The 59ers are going for back-to-back titles, while Evansville Mater Dei is trying for its for first crown since 2000.

Carroll (Fort Wayne) (13-0) vs. Center Grove (11-2) (Class 6A): The Chargers are making their first appearance in the state finals, while Center Grove is in pursuit of its third straight championship.

Indianapolis Bishop Chatard (10-4) vs. Lawrenceburg (13-1) (Class 3A): The Trojans claimed the 2020 state title, while Lawrenceburg was Class 1A champions in 1978.

New Prairie (13-1) vs. East Central (12-2) (Class 4A): The Cougars finished as state runner-up in 2014, while East Central earned the 2017 state title.

Valparaiso (10-3) vs. Whiteland (12-1) (Class 5A): The Vikings captured the 1975 Class 3A championship, while Whiteland is in the title affair for the first time.
