Elgin, Ill. The Holy Cross College men’s soccer team had another conference road match this afternoon when they faced Judson University. The Saints took an early 1-0 lead from the goal scored by David Ross, four minutes into the match. Less than two minutes later, Judson evening the game up 1-1 with a goal of their own. Holy Cross responded with another goal in the 6th minute by Victor Sellu. Judson tied the game 2-2 in the 9th minute, but Cliff Brown gave the Saints a 3-2 halftime lead with a goal scored in the 40th minute. Judson was able to score in the 80th minute, which resulted in the game going into overtime. Both neither only had one shot in the first overtime as the game entered the second OT still knotted 3-3. Judson was able to score in the 108th minute to hand the Saints the 4-3 defeat. With the loss, Holy Cross stands at 3-3 and 0-2 in CCAC play, while Judson improves to 4-0-2 and 1-0-1.
