Elgin, Ill. The Holy Cross College women’s soccer team traveled to Illinois this afternoon to take on Judson University in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference matchup. After some back and forth action between the two teams in the first half, the match entered halftime knotted 0-0. In the 79th minute, Katie Garon found the net to give HC the 1-0 lead with 11 minutes to play. The goal proved to be the game-winning goal and the Saints would go on to defeat Judson 1-0. With the win, Holy Cross improves to 4-2-1 and 1-1 in conference play, while Judson moves to 3-2 and 1-1.
