Notre Dame, Ind. The Holy Cross women’s basketball hosted Calumet College of St. Joseph this afternoon in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference. The Saints would come out the aggressor to start the game and would control a 18-5 lead after the first quarter. The Saints would extend their lead going 10/15 from the field in the second quarter to enter halftime up 41-20. Holy Cross outscored the Wave 19-8 in the third quarter to push the lead to 59-29 entering the final ten minutes of action. The fourth quarter was a similar story for the Saints as they would cruise to the 83-42 victory. With the win, Holy Cross improves to 11-8 overall and 6-6 in league play, while CCSJ stands at 0-12 and 0-11.
