Gary, Ind. The Holy Cross College men’s soccer team returned to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play this evening when they traveled to Indiana University Northwest. Gabe Nyenka gave Holy Cross a 1-0 lead with a goal coming in the 13th minute. In the 34th minute, Cliff Brown added another HC goal and the game would enter halftime with a 2-0 score. Two quick goals in the second half, by Erick Zelaya and Gabe Nyenka gave HC the 4-0 lead. The Saints poured in the goals in the second half as they would cruise to the 10-1 victory. With the win, Holy Cross moves to 7-5-2 and 4-4-2 in CCAC play, while IUNW stands at 1-12-1 and 0-11.
