Moore named NCCAA Coach of the Year

WINONA LAKE, Ind. – Grace’s women’s tennis head coach Marcus Moore earned a national honor from the NCCAA.

Moore was named the NCCAA National Coach of the Year. He led the Lady Lancers to a 14-6 record in the 2020-21 season.
Grace’s 14 wins tied for the most victories in a single season in team history. Only the 2018 squad — also coached by Moore — recorded 14 wins in a year.

The Lady Lancers also posted a 6-2 mark in Crossroads League play, the second-most league wins in program history. Grace finished third in the league standings and advanced to the semifinals of the CL Tournament.

Moore is the fourth coach from Grace this year to be named an NCCAA National Coach of the Year, joining Arron Patrick (men’s soccer), Andy Lewis (men’s tennis) and Jeff Raymond (track and field).
