Crossroads League Announces Men’s Basketball Award Winners
AVON, Ohio – The Crossroads League announced its 2020-2021 Men’s Basketball All-League honors on Wednesday, following Indiana Wesleyan’s regular season championship and one day after Marian’s CL Tournament Championship.
The Wildcats took home three of the league’s top honors and claimed 10 total awards, highlighted by Greg Tonagel being named the CL Coach of the Year, Kyle Mangas taking home a fourth-straight CL Player-of-the-Year nod and Seth Maxwell repeating as the CL Defensive Player of the Year. Clay Hilliard of Mount Vernon Nazarene claimed the fourth top honor, as the CL Freshman of the Year.
The Crossroads League First-Team was filled by Mangas and Maxwell of IWU, along with TreVion Crews of Bethel, Cameron Wolter and Christian Stewart of Marian, Jevon Knox of MVNU, Antwaan Cushingberry of Saint Francis, Zach Goodline of Huntington, Jason Hubbard of Taylor and Haden Deaton of Grace.
The All-Crossroads League honors were voted on by the 10 head coaches from around the league and announced by the Crossroads League office.
