Crossroads League Announces Athletes of the Week | Dec. 7-13

AVON, Ohio – The Crossroads League Athletes of the Week were announced on Monday, recognizing the top athletes from December 7 through 13. Sports Information Directors from the league nominate student-athletes for the award and vote on each week’s winners.
Women’s Basketball Player of the Week
Lauren James, Taylor
James did it all for Taylor in wins over RV Indiana Wesleyan and Grace, netting 22.0 points, 7.0 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per victory, while shooting 10-of-17 from deep. James drilled eight-of-10 attempts from beyond the arc and had eight assists in TU’s win at Grace.

Men’s Basketball Player of the Week
TreVion Crews, Bethel
Crews erupted for a career-high 45 points in Bethel’s 100-63 win at MVNU and averaged 26.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals in a pair of BU victories. The 45 points were the second most in Bethel history and his 11 three-pointers in the game set a new program record.
