Capacity Restrictions Lifted for Northwestern Athletics Home Events

 

EVANSTON, Ill. — Welcome back, ‘Cats fans. 

Northwestern Athletics is pleased to announce there will be no capacity restrictions at home events during the 2021-22 competitive seasons.

In addition to announcing the ability to host capacity crowds at home events, Northwestern has officially gone on-sale with 2021 football season-ticket packages and single-game tickets for the Wildcats’ 2021 opener vs. Michigan State on Sept. 3 under the lights at Ryan Field. Single-game tickets for the remainder of the 2021 Ryan Field schedule will go on-sale July 20.

The 2021 season-ticket package includes tickets to all six Northwestern home games at Ryan Field, and the exclusive opportunity to purchase tickets for the Wildcats Classic at Wrigley Field when NU hosts Purdue at The Friendly Confines on Saturday, Nov. 20. All tickets and parking passes will be delivered electronically this season.

Group tickets are available for all home games at Ryan Field. Please contact a Northwestern ticket representative at 888-GO-PURPLE for more information regarding group packages. Ticket information for the remainder of Northwestern’s fall sports in addition to men’s and women’s basketball tickets will be released later this summer.

Fully vaccinated individuals are no longer required to wear masks in most indoor settings on campus. According to Northwestern’s guidelines regarding facial coverings, the University reserves the right to require masks in certain indoor settings that could potentially include sporting events. Northwestern’s COVID-19 protocols adhere to guidance from public health agencies and are subject to change in response to the local health landscape.
