GREENVILLE, S.C. – The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) announced the National Student-Athlete of the Week Award winners for the week of May 3-8. Emma Mott earned the honor of NCCAA Women’s Outdoor Track National Student-Athlete of the Week.

Mott placed first in two events at the Crossroads League Championship. Mott won the 4x400m relay with a time of 4:01.11 and set a school record, meet record, and clocked the fastest time in the NCCAA and NAIA this season winning the 800m with a time of 2:11.52. Mott also placed second in the 1500m with a time of 4:32.02 and was named Women’s Track Athlete of the Meet.

It is the 44th NCCAA National Student-Athlete of the Week honor for the Pilots in 2020-21 and the 16th weekly accolade for the senior from Granger. Each student-athlete has been nominated by his/her respective institution and exemplifies the Christian ideals held by the NCCAA.
