JACKSON NAMED NCCAA NATIONAL STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) announced the National Student-Athlete of the Week Award winners for the week of May 3-8. Thomas Jackson earned the honor of NCCAA Men’s Outdoor Field National Student-Athlete of the Week.

Thomas Jackson placed first in the long jump with a distance of 7.09m, and first in the triple jump with a distance of 13.93m at the Crossroads League Championship. Jackson ranks first in the high jump and second in the triple jump for the NCCAA. He also earned All-League honors in the 100m and 4x100m relay with runner up finishes.

It is the 45th NCCAA National Student-Athlete of the Week honor for the Pilots in 2020-21 and the 5th weekly accolade for the senior from Gary. Each student-athlete has been nominated by his/her respective institution and exemplifies the Christian ideals held by the NCCAA.
