Arnaud Fady Named NCCAA National Student-Athlete of the Week

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) announced the National Student-Athlete of the Week Award winners for the week of September 21-26. Arnaud Fady earned the National Defender of the Week honors, the second time in three weeks the Pilots have owned that honor—and third straight week a Pilots’ men’s soccer player has taken home a national recognition.

Fady earned two wins in two starts, turning away 10 shots in goal. Fady made six saves in the 4-1 win over Spring Arbor University, including two penalty kick saves. He then recorded his first career shutout as he tallied 4 saves in a 1-0 win over Grace College.

It is the seventh NCCAA National Student-Athlete of the Week honor for the Pilots in 2020-21 and the second weekly accolade for the junior from Lyon, France. Each student-athlete has been nominated by his/her respective institution and exemplifies the Christian ideals held by the NCCAA.
