THOUGHTS FROM COACH REESE

  • “Hannah pitched well enough in game one to win, we just didn’t produce for her. Being held to three hits was very frustrating.”
  • We outhit one of the top teams in the country in game two but didn’t come up with the clutch hits when we needed them. Mahri had a great game at the plate. Sydney did a good job, too, coming up with two hits. We did a decent job of putting the ball in play and getting ourselves in position to make a move offensively, unfortunately we just didn’t come up with the key hits when we needed them.”
  • “We’ll get better as the week progresses. It’s nice to be outside in competitive situations.”
