COUGARS SHUT DOWN PILOTS IN SECOND STANZA

FORT WAYNE – Bethel Men’s Basketball held a halftime lead over the 21st-ranked Cougars on Tuesday but could not keep Saint Francis down in a 90-75 defeat on the road. Jared DeHart led the Pilots with 27 points off the bench, going 11-15 from the field.

The Pilots outrebounded the Cougars 42-35, including 13-8 on the offensive end, but were only able to capitalize with 8 second chance points.
The Cougars opened the second half on a 22-10 run over the first seven minutes to lead 63-50. The Pilots were only able to get the margin back into single digits on two possessions the rest of the way.
