HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Bethel Softball bounced back after a game one loss to Huntington on Wednesday to take a 4-2 win in game two. The Pilots jumped out to a 3-0 lead after 4.5 innings and tacked on an insurance run in their final at bat to secure the happy bus trip home.

Marissa Navarrete hit her fourth double of the season in game two. All four two-baggers have produced runs for the Pilots, driving in seven on doubles this season.
With the game one loss, the Pilots are eliminated from qualifying for postseason play. They are 2.5 games out of a playoff spot with two games to play.
NEXT TIME OUT
The Pilots finish their season at Gardner Field in the US Highway 20 Cup Series against Goshen at 1:00 pm. The Pilots and Maple Leafs split a doubleheader in Goshen earlier in the season. The Pilots have a chance to match their most wins in Crossroads League play since 2013-14 with a sweep on Saturday.
