Bethel Athletics Announces Suspension of Spectator Policy Thru Nov. 15
Athletics Spectator Policy | Bethel University’s COVID Response
MISHAWAKA – Due to a rise in COVID-19 cases in the Bethel community and the corresponding Bethel University COVID-19 Risk Level being elevated to Orange (High Risk), Bethel Athletics has announced a suspension to the Spectator Policy beginning immediately thru Sunday November 15.
Bethel’s Risk Level Orange is described as an “increased number of University cases, with evidence of community spread.” Beginning immediately, no fans of any kind will be allowed at home athletic events in an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 on campus. Bethel varsity events will be allowed to be completed, but any reserves/junior varsity contests (home or away) are suspended. The suspension of the Spectator Policy is expected thru at least Sunday, November 15—no fans will be allowed in any Bethel athletic contests until otherwise notified.
