Notre Dame, Ind.  The Holy Cross women’s basketball team returned to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play this afternoon when they hosted the (RV) University of St. Francis. After the first 20 minutes of actions the Saints trailed 29-20 entering halftime. St Francis outscored the Saints 20-12 in the third quarter to extend their lead to 49-32 entering the final quarter. Holy Cross cut into the St. Francis lead to start the fourth quarter but were unable to overcome the deficit, as they would fall 69-50. With the loss, Holy Cross stands at 6-6 overall and 2-5 in CCAC play while USF improves to 11-3 and 7-1
