Trio of Trojans Earn Academic All-American Honors for CL

AUSTIN, Texas – The final batch of CoSIDA Academic All-American honors were announced recently, with three Taylor student-athletes representing the Crossroads League on the prestigious list of NAIA Cross Country and Track Academic All-Americans.

TU’s Sarah Harden was the CL’s lone representative on the CoSIDA NAIA Academic All-American Women’s Cross Country and Track Team, while Alex Helmuth and Luke Rovenstine of the Trojans took the honor on the men’s side.

CoSIDA Academic All-America honors are voted on by CoSIDA members from around the nation. To be eligible for the top honor, student-athletes must be selected as First-Team Academic All-District recipients, after being nominated by their institution’s Sports Information Department.
