• Purdue improved to 10-1 on the season with a dominant 77-48 win over Butler in the final edition of the Crossroads Classic.
• Purdue finished the Crossroads Classic with a 4-7 record, but won its last two games in the annual gathering by a combined 39 points.
• Purdue is 10-1 for the fourth time under head coach Matt Painter (2021-22, 2015-16, 2010-11, 2009-10).
• Purdue’s 29-point victory was the second-largest margin of victory in the 11-year, 22-game history of the event.
• Butler’s 48 points were the fewest scored by a time in Crossroads Classic history. Prior to today, no team had scored fewer than 58 points in the event (Notre Dame – 2011).
• Purdue is now 20-2 against in-state opposition since the start of the 2016-17 season, having won nine straight games in the process by an average of 12.7 points per game.
• Purdue has won 10 straight regular-season non-conference games, dating to last season.
• Purdue shot over 50.0 percent from the field for the ninth time in 11 games this season, shooting 52.9 percent from the field. Purdue also shot over 45.0 percent from 3-point range for the third time this year, making 50.0 percent of its 22 tries (11-of-22).
• The Boilermakers have won 16 straight games when making double-digit 3-pointers.
• Purdue’s 48 points allowed were its fewest allowed since Jan. 12, 2020, vs. No. 8 Michigan State (71-42 win).
• Purdue has won 26 straight games when shooting a higher field goal percentage than its opponent.
• Jaden Ivey scored 22 points with five rebounds, two assists and a steal while going 7-of-10 from the field and 6-of-6 from long range. His six 3-pointers tied a Crossroads Classic record and it ties the school record for most 3-pointers made without a miss (Dakota Mathias). Ivey is now shooting 46.2 percent (24-of-52) from long distance on the season.
• Zach Edey recorded his fourth career double-double, doing so before halftime. Edey finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds in 20 minutes of action.
