PILOTS CLAIM CHAMPIONSHIP WITH 3-1 PK SHOOTOUT WIN
MISHAWAKA – (RV) Bethel Men’s Soccer and Indiana Wesleyan finished regulation and two overtime periods scoreless, so the Crossroads League Championship went to a PK Shootout with the Pilots earning a 3-1 win to claim the title. The Pilots jumped out to a 2-0 PK lead on the strength of three straight Franklin Joyce denials before the Wildcats and Pilots exchanged goals in the fourth frame, the latter clinching the PK win off the foot of Matheus Santiago.
