IRVING, Texas (Aug. 4, 2021) – The National Football Foundation (NFF) Board of Directors salutes its Chairman Archie Manning, who will have the honor of presenting his son Peyton during his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame Aug. 8 in Canton, Ohio. Both Mannings have been inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame, Archie (Ole Miss) in 1989 and Peyton (Tennessee) in 2017.
“Ever since Archie took his first snap at Ole Miss in 1968, the Mannings have come to define excellence, and not just on the field but in all their endeavors,” said NFF President & CEO Steve Hatchell. “Whether it’s supporting hospitals in Colorado, Indiana, Mississippi or Tennessee, mentoring the next generation at the Manning Passing Academy for the past 25 years or leading the National Football Foundation, the Manning family has clearly made an impact on our game rivaled by few if any. This weekend marks a truly special milestone for their family, and we wanted to add our congratulations on what promises to be a uniquely memorable moment for Archie, Peyton, the entire Manning family and all who love the game.”
