Bremen (1-2) at Triton (2-1): The Lions blanked Triton, 41-0, a year ago. Ethan Nunemaker was 7-of-11 for 117 yards and one score for Bremen in its 48-6 loss to Marian. Anthony Schuh ran for 164 yards and three touchdowns in the Trojans’ 35-16 win over Caston. Matt’s pick: Bremen 15, Triton 9.
Byron Center (Mich.) (2-0) at Elkhart (2-1): Hunter Schichtel threw for 123 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 240 yards and four more scores in the Bulldogs’ 42-28 win over Birmingham Seaholm. Brady Krueper was 10-of-15 for 168 yards in the Lions’ 47-8 win over Hammond Morton. Matt’s pick: Byron Center 35, Elkhart 31.
Glenn (2-1, 1-0 NIC) at Jimtown (1-2): The Falcons edged Jimtown, 10-7, last season. Justin Henry booted a 33-yard field goal in Glenn’s 27-9 loss to Saint Joseph. In addition to running for 113 yards and two scores, Johntu Reed booted five extra-points in the Jimmies’ 53-6 win over Osceola Grace. Matt’s pick: Jimtown 33, Glenn 11.
Marian (1-2) at New Prairie (3-0): The Knights crowned No. 8 (Class 4A) New Prairie, 35-14, last year. Michael Murphy recorded nine tackles for Marian against Bremen. Saint Joseph (2-1) at Adams (2-1) (TCU School Field): The Indians downed Adams, 21-14, in their previous meeting. Alex Ortiz threw for 99 yards and ran for 29 yards and two scores for Saint Joseph against Glenn. Jeremiah Love rambled for 115 yards and two touchdowns for the Eagles against Riley. Saint Xavier (Ohio) (3-0) at Penn (0-3): The Bombers posted a 37-7 win over Penn in the 2019 campaign. Joe Nelson recorded a 67-yard interception return for a touchdown in defending state champion Saint Xavier’s 49-0 win over Olentangy Liberty. Ryne Buckley was 6-of-11 for 59 yards in the Kingsmen’s 37-0 loss to top-ranked and defending Class 5A state champion Indianapolis Cathedral. Matt’s pick: Saint Xavier 41, Penn 17.

Concord (2-1, 1-0 NLC) at Wawasee (0-3, 0-1 NLC): The Minutemen were a 28-7 winner over Wawasee last season. Titus Hackworth ran 19 times for 82 yards and caught a 10-yard touchdown pass in Concord’s 30-29 overtime win over NorthWood. Jaxon Brown tossed for 56 yards in the Warriors’ 42-0 loss to Northridge.
