Adams (3-1) at Fort Wayne Concordia (3-3): Tommy Snyder netted 26 points in the Eagles’ 82-50 win over Clay. Ajani Washington managed 20 points in the Cadets’ 53-50 win over Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger. Matt’s pick: Adams 57, Fort Wayne Concordia 54.
Adams (3-3) at Fort Wayne South (3-3): The Archers earned a 62-59 win over Adams during the 2011-12 campaign. Brittan Vann came up with 14 points for the Eagles against Clay. Ashton Johnson scored 24 points in Fort Wayne South’s 72-64 win over Fort Wayne Northrop. Matt’s pick: Fort Wayne South 64, Adams 61.
Central Noble (6-0) at Bremen (4-1): The No. 1 (Class 2A) Cougars downed Bremen, 51-42, a year ago. Wisconsin recruit Connor Essegian contributed 16 points in Central Noble’s 55-51 win over Woodlan. Dawson Hickman recorded five points in the Lions’ 73-48 loss to No. 7 (Class 4A) Penn. Matt’s pick: Central Noble 58, Bremen 49.
Clay (2-6) at South Bend Trinity (5-1): The Colonials managed a 56-32 win over Trinity during the 2019-20 season. Jamari Jones tallied two points for Clay against Adams. Henry Lee’s 16 points lifted the Titans to a 32-15 win over Culver. Matt’s pick: Clay 50, Trinity 48.
Columbia City (6-1) at Wawasee (3-3): The Eagles soared to a 41-24 win against Wawasee last year. Mason Baker registered 16 points in Columbia City’s 59-52 win over Fort Wayne Wayne. Keaton Dukes ended with seven points in the Warriors’ 61-41 loss to Warsaw. Matt’s pick: Columbia City 43, Wawasee 40.
Goshen (6-1) at East Noble (4-4): The Knights slipped by Goshen, 56-52, in their previous meeting. Gage Worthman accounted for three points in the RedHawks’ 57-55 win over Northridge. Spencer Denton chipped in 15 points in East Noble’s 64-36 win over Concord. Matt’s pick: Goshen 61, East Noble 59.
New Prairie (1-5) at Mishawaka (3-2): The Cougars clawed past Mishawaka, 60-53, last season. Adin Newman came up with 13 points in New Prairie’s 59-56 loss to Jimtown. Brenden Williams had 12 points for the Cavemen in their 56-47 win over Concord. Matt’s pick: Mishawaka 56, New Prairie 46.
Northridge (2-3) at Washington (5-2): The Raiders rolled to a 65-51 win over Washington a season ago. Jethro Hochstetler racked up three points for Northridge against Goshen, Johnny Watson’s two points were not enough in Washington’s 54-47 loss to No. 9 (Class 3A) Glenn. Matt’s pick: Washington 65, Northridge 57.
Riley (4-3) at Plymouth (0-6): The Wildcats cruised to a 59-47 win against Plymouth last year. Marvin Schindler poured in 24 points in Riley’s 89-64 win over Northridge. Coby Walters managed 10 points in the Pilgrims; 55-38 loss to No. 6 (Class 3A) NorthWood. Matt’s pick: Riley 70, Plymouth 52.
