  3. Saint Joseph (1-0): A.J. LaSane returned from an injury, which sidelined him for the entire 2025 campaign, to throw for 113 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the Huskies’ 35-6 win at Lakeland.
  4. Warsaw (1-0): Wyatt Harman’s 95-yard touchdown scamper with 2:19 left was the difference as the Tigers rallied for a 33-30 win over Fort Wayne Snider.
  5. Northridge (1-0): Colt Granberg registered 13 tackles in the Raiders’ 62-32 win over West Noble.

Bremen (1-0): Jake Rodriguez accounted for 123 yards and three scores in the Lions’ 49-14 win over Churubusco.

Elkhart (1-0): Je’Mar King recorded two catches for 25 yards with two touchdowns in the Lions’ 22-20 win over Concord.

LaVille (1-0): Dylan Miller racked up 126 total yards and a score in the Lancers’ 24-6 win over Triton.

Riley (1-0): Cortney Davis ran 18 times for 144 yards with two touchdowns and completed 4-of-8 passes for 61 yards in the Wildcats’ 33-0 blanking of Hammond Bishop Noll.

Tippecanoe Valley (1-0): Owen Omandi rolled 142 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries in the Vikings’ 22-14 win over Plymouth.

MAKING PROGRESS

Adams (1-0): Carson Bryce carried the football 27 times for 123 yards and also tallied seven tackles in the Eagles’ 9-8 win at Culver Academy.

Glenn (1-0): Blake Forkner raced for 141 yards and two touchdowns in the Falcons’ 33-7 win over Boone Grove.

Jimtown (1-0): In his first contest, Lawson VanHoozer returned a fumble 43 yards for a score and intercepted a pass to help the Jimmies to a 41-21 win over Wawasee.

NEEDS SOME WORK

Concord (0-1): JJ Lee tallied 10 rushes for 28 yards and five catches for 56 yards for the Minutemen against Elkhart.

Goshen (0-1): Jacob Duncan caught a nine-yard touchdown pass in the RedHawks’ 41-18 loss to Angola.

Knox (0-1): Ashton Walker added 14 rushes for 49 yards in the Redskins’ 42-0 loss to North Judson.

Marian (0-1): Jack Grewe went 3-of-14 for 38 yards with a touchdown and carried the ball five times for 17 yards with another score for the Knights against Mishawaka.

New Prairie (0-1): Lucas Halderman scampered 28 times for 146 yards with three touchdowns in the Cougars’ 34-21 loss to LaPorte.

NorthWood (0-1): Ethan Miller chipped in five carries for 33 yards with a score and four tackles in the Panthers’ 45-8 loss to Columbia City.

Plymouth (0-1): Grady Scott registered eight catches for 72 yards for the Rockies against Tippecanoe Valley.

Washington (0-1): The Panthers opened the 2026 campaign with a 40-0 setback to Hammond Central.

Wawasee (0-1): Kaden Andrew galloped six times for 48 yards with a touchdown and caught three passes for 58 yards and another tally for the Warriors against Jimtown.

Glenn (1-0) at Fairfield (1-0): In the battle of the Falcons, Fairfield ended a seven-game skid against Glenn last fall with a 38-20 victory.

Logansport (1-0) at Adams (1-0): The Berries have captured two of the previous three contests against Adams.

North Judson (1-0) at LaVille (1-0): The Lancers snapped a three-game losing streak against North Judson with a 24-22 triumph in last year’s Class 1A sectional semifinals.

Penn (1-0) at Mishawaka (1-0): The Kingsmen are in search of their first win at Mishawaka’s Steele Stadium since 2019.

Warren Central (1-0) at Elkhart (1-0): The Lions are looking to start 2-0 for the first time since 2022, while Warren Central last started the season with two straight wins in 2024.
