CHICAGO, Ill – Outside hitter Hannah Marchand was honored as the league’s top offensive player on Tuesday, as the senior was named the CCAC Attacker of the Week following the straight-set victory for IU South Bend over Governors State.

CCAC Women’s Volleyball Players of the Week

Marchand tallied 20 kills in just three sets of work last Thursday, leading the Titans 25-13, 25-21, 25-20 over the host Jaguars. The Sturgis, Mich. native hit for a .318 attack percentage, and scored 23 of IUSB’s 59 points in the win. It’s her eighth 20-kill match in a Titan uniform, but just Marchand’s first in a three-set match.

The 2019 CCAC Player of the Year and a two-time All-CCAC First Team selection, Marchand picks up her sixth career CCAC Player of the Week honor.

The Titans look to keep their perfect conference record intact on Tuesday night, when they host defending CCAC champions Olivet Nazarene. First serve from the Student Activities Center is set for 7:00 p.m.
