IU South Bend men’s golf opens spring season at LTU Spring Break Invite

OPELIKA, Ala. – IU South Bend Men’s Golf made their spring debut over the weekend, competing at the Lawrence Tech Spring Break Invitational at Grand National Golf Course.  Collin Haines led the way for the Titans, shooting a 12-over-par 156 over the two-round event. Haines posted a low score of 77 in the final round to finish T-25th. David Counsellor matched the team’s low score of 77 in the final round as well, finishing T-29th with a 158 (+14). As a team the Titans finished 8th with a score of +76, shooting identical scores of 326 in both rounds. IUSB competes again in two weeks, when they participate in the Lawrence Tech Spring Invite at Heritage Hill Golf Course in Shepherdsville, Ky.
