2024 Dave Land “Coach of the Year”
Michael Mosser Adams Central 2 A
Michael Mosser has been the head coach at his alma mater, Adams Central High School, in Monroe, Indiana for the past 16 seasons. Before taking the head position, Michael was an assistant coach under Kirk Sorg at South Adams for eight years and then under Rick Minnich at Adams Central for
three. Since becoming the head coach in 2009 he has amassed a total of 155 wins with only 50 losses and accumulated a total of 6 Conference (ACAC) championships, 9 Sectional championships, 7 Regional titles, 4 Semi-State titles, and, just recently, won the 2A State Championship against
Linton. Michael attributes the success of the Adams Central Football program to the hard-working coaches on his staff and the great kids he has had the privilege to coach over the years. Michael was a three-sport athlete at Adams Central and graduated in 1993. He went on to play quarterback for the
Anderson University Ravens, majored in Social Studies Education, and graduated in 1997. He currently teaches 8th Grade History and several high school history electives at Adams Central. He has been married to his wife Melinda (Steffen) since 1995 and has three married children: Megan
(Graham) Troxel, Hannah (Jake) Hreha, and Josh (Anna Christman).
