Player of the Week

Grace Berger, Indiana

Sr. – G – Louisville. Ky. – Sacred Heart Academy – Master’s Program: Athletic Administration

Averaged 21.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game with a .600 field-goal percentage and 5.00 assist/turnover ratio in helping No. 7/6 Indiana to conference victories at Illinois and vs. Michigan State

Scored a career-high 29 points (9-17 FG, 11-11 FT) and grabbed seven rebounds in the Hoosiers’ Feb. 12 win over MSU

Contributed 13 points, eight rebounds and seven assists on Feb. 9 in Indiana’s win at Illinois

Veronica Burton, Sr., G, NU: Logged 20.0 ppg., 10.0 apg., 6.0 rpg. and 3.0 spg. in NU’s two games last week, including 13 points, 13 assists and career-high eight rebounds plus the two game-winning foul shots with less than four seconds left in Sunday’s double-overtime win over No. 4/4 Michigan

Taylor Mikesell, Sr., G, OSU: Averaged 23.5 ppg. with a .533 field-goal percentage and .579 three-point percentage last week, scoring 20 points in both OSU wins, including 26 points on Feb. 7 vs. Rutgers

Registered 15.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game last week as Northwestern split a pair of conference matchups with No. 4/4 Michigan (win) and Minnesota (loss)

Had career highs of 18 points, eight rebounds, three steals and two blocks in Sunday’s double-overtime win over the Wolverines, the highest-ranked opponent NU has defeated since Jan. 16, 1982 (No. 3 Long Beach State)

Added 12 points and three rebounds in Feb. 11 defeat at Minnesota
