Fighting Illini’s McQueen, Hoosiers’ Minnick and Wildcats’ Rudd collect this week’s honors
Player of the Week
Jordyn Rudd, Northwestern
Sr. – C – Greenwood, Ind. – Center Grove – Major: Political Science
• Batted .600 with a 1.600 slugging percentage and .750 on-base percentage in four games last week, collecting three home runs, six RBI and scoring six runs
• Homered and scored twice in each of NU’s three games in weekend sweep at Ohio State
• Reached base in 12 of 13 plate appearances during the OSU series
• Earned Academic All-Big Ten citation last year
• Captures her second career Player of the Week honor

Pitcher of the Week
Tori McQueen, Illinois
So. – LHP – Mooresville, Ind. – Mooresville – Major: Kinesiology
• Went 2-0 with two complete games and a 1.31 ERA in 16.0 innings of work across three games last week, posting 19 strikeouts and just two walks while holding opposing batters to a combined .096 average
• Registered back-to-back complete-game victories in both ends of an April 9 doubleheader sweep of Wisconsin
• Recorded 13 strikeouts in the April 9 doubleheader opener against the Badgers
• Collects her first career Pitcher of the Week plaudit

Freshman of the Week
Taylor Minnick, Indiana
OF – Bloomington, Ind. – Edgewood – Major: Sports Marketing and Management
• Compiled a .667 batting average, 1.500 slugging percentage and .818 on-base percentage in Indiana’s three-game conference sweep over Rutgers
• Tallied a home run, five runs and three RBI while reaching base in nine of 11 plate appearances during the series
• Homered in the series opener on April 8 and added a key RBI double in a four-run fifth-inning rally on April 9
• Receives her first career Freshman of the Week award
