Milwaukee, Wis. The Holy Cross College women’s soccer team traveled to Cardinal Stritch University for the CCAC Tournament Semifinals. The Saints entered the game as the #3 seed with the Wolves being the #2 seed. This was the second matchup between the two teams this season, with Stritch getting the 2-1 victory back on March 13. The Saints battled the #2 seed Wolves for 110 minutes as the game entered a penalty kick shootout tied 0-0 after double overtime. Stritch was able to get the shootout win converting on three PK’s, while Holy Cross went two out of five. With the loss, Holy Cross finishes their season at 9-5 and 7-3 in conference play, while Stritch improves to 11-1 and 9-1.
