Notre Dame, Ind. The Holy Cross College women’s soccer team hosted Trinity International University this morning in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference matchup. A very cold and windy weather condition for the match today, as Nicole Cook was able to give the Saints an early 1-0 lead in the first half. The game would enter halftime with that being the lone goal, with HC up 1-0. Riley Chapla added to the Saints lead in the 58th minute off a set corner piece. In the end, the Saints were too much for the Trojans as they would get the 2-0 victory. With the win, Holy Cross stands at 9-4-2 and 6-3-1 in conference play, while Trinity International moves to 7-6-1 and 4-5-1 in conference play.
