Gary, Ind. The Holy Cross College women’s soccer team traveled to Indiana University Northwest this evening for Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference matchup. Lauren Cernak and Nicole Cook gave the Saints a 2-0 in the first half with goals scored in the 16th and 31st minute. Holy Cross poured in the goals in the second half with two more additional goals scored by Nicole Cook and one by Olivia Shaw and the final two by Olivia Shaw. The Saints would defeat the Red Hawks 6-0 and secure a birth in the CCAC post season tournament. With the win, Holy Cross improves to 10-4-2 and 7-3-1 in conference play, while IUNW stands at 1-13 and 0-10 in conference play.
