Chicago, Ill. The Holy Cross College women’s soccer team returned to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play when they travel to St. Xavier University this evening. Lauren Cernak gave the Saints a 1-0 lead in the 14th minute off the assist from Nicole Cook. That good remained for the half as Holy Cross entered halftime 1-0. Kathleen Ming added another goal in the 75th minute to up the score to 2-0. The would be the final, as the Saints took down the Cougars 2-0. With the win, Holy Cross stands at 7-2-1 and 4-1 in conference play, while St. Xavier moves to 0-9 and 0-4.
