Richmond, Ind.  The Holy Cross College women’s soccer team traveled to Indiana University East today for a non-conference matchup. Leading into the match, IUE held a 1-0 career record over HC. IU East was able to score two unanswered goals in the first half to take the 2-0 halftime lead. After a sluggish second half offensively from both teams, Nicole Cook was able to find the net in the 79th minute to cut the lead to 2-1. IUE was able to score another goal in the 87th minute to hand the Saints the 3-1 defeat. With the loss, Holy Cross stands at to 2-1, while IUE improves to 1-1.
