Notre Dame, Ind. The Holy Cross College women’s soccer team hosted Olivet Nazarene University in the last regular season, Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference matchup. To start the match, Holy Cross was on the attack but were unable to capitalize on numerous corner kicks within the first 10 minutes of action. The game would enter halftime knotted 0-0. Early on in the second half an ONU attacked led to a foul inside the box and the Tigers were able to score on the penalty kick in the 48th minute. That goal would prove to be the game winning goal, and ONU would hand the Saints the 1-0 defeat. With the loss, Holy Cross finishes the regular season with a 11-5-2 overall record and 7-4-1 in conference play, while ONU improves to 8-6-3 and 8-2-2 in conference play.
