Notre Dame, Ind. The Holy Cross women’s basketball team hosted Madonna University this evening in a non-conference matchup. After a stout defensive effort in the first and second periods, Holy Cross entered halftime with a 25-16 lead. The Saints would limit the Crusaders to just 18 total points in the last 20 minutes of action, as they would cruise to the 59-34 victory. With the win, Holy Cross improves to 6-5 overall and 2-4 in CCAC play while Madonna stands at 4-9.
