Milwaukee, Wis.  The Holy Cross women’s basketball team returned to Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play this afternoon on the road at Cardinal Stritch University. The Saints jumped out to a 18-10 lead after the first quarter of action. The Wolves were able to cut into the lead in the second quarter, as the Saints would hold a 28-24 lead heading into halftime. Holy Cross would never trail in the third and fourth quarters and would extend their lead and come away with the 66-49 victory. With the win, Holy Cross improves to 9-8 and 4-6 in conference play, while Stritch stands at 4-13 and 2-9.
