Notre Dame, Ind. The Holy Cross women’s basketball team hosted Cardinal Stritch University this afternoon in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference matchup. A tight game in the first quarter, as the Saints would lead 17-16. The Holy Cross defense held the Wolves to just six points in the second quarter as the game would enter halftime with a 39-22 Saints lead. Holy Cross would extend their lead in the third and fourth quarters to come away with the 76-47 victory. With the win, Holy Cross improves to 8-6 overall and 3-5 in conference play while Stritch stands at 2-11 and 0-7.
