South Bend, Ind. The Holy Cross College men’s soccer team hosted St. Ambrose University this afternoon in a CCAC matchup at TCU School field. The Fighting Bees scored first in the 9th minute, but a goal by Jeffrey Harper off the assist from Jeff Rafter tied the game 1-1 in the 24th minute. The score would hold for the half as the game entered halftime tied 1-1. The Saints would score four unanswered goals in the second half as they would cruise to the 5-1 victory With the win, Holy Cross improves 6-5-1 overall and 4-5 in league play, while SAU falls to 2-7 and 1-7.
