Milwaukee, Wis.  The Holy Cross College men’s soccer team took on Cardinal Stritch University on the road in the opening round of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament. The Saints entered the game as the #8 seed while the Wolves came in as the #1 seed. The Wolves were able to score two goal in the first half as the Saints would enter halftime down 2-0. Stritch tacked on another goal in the 63rd minute, but a goal by Jeff Rafter in 66th minute cut into the CSU lead. The score would stand for the remainder of the half as the Saints would fall by a score of 3-1.With the loss, Holy Cross ends their season with an 8-7-1 overall and 6-6 in league play, while Stritch improves to 11-1-1 and 11-1-1.
