Notre Dame, Ind. The Holy Cross College men’s basketball team hosted St. Xavier University this evening in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference matchup. After the first half of action, the Saints controlled a 41-35 lead. Holy Cross extended their lead in the second half with shooting 56% from the field as they would go on to an 82-62 victory. With the win, men’s basketball improves to 8-7 overall and 3-5 in league play while Stritch stands at 3-10 and 1-6.
